Who is Dr Teri Johnson?

Dr Teresa (Teri) Johnson is a local General Practitioner in Middlewich she is a partner at The Oaklands Medical Centre in Middlewich and has been a partner at the practice since April 2000.

Dr Teri Johnson qualified to be a doctor in 1993 after graduating from Liverpool University with an MBCHB. She has since worked and trained in the North West obtaining her Vocational Training Certificate for General Practice in 1999. She has worked as a GP in Cheshire ever since.

Dr Teri is a member of the GMC and The Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland.

Dr Teri’s primary interest has been Gynaecology, Sexual and Reproductive Health. She has worked in the family planning service locally since 1999 and has been a Family Planning instructing doctor since May 2002. She trained doctors in the safe use of family planning methods and the practical procedures of fitting coils and implants until 2012.

When did Dr Teri train in aesthetics?

In 2006 Dr Teri trained in the use of Botulinum Toxin (Botox) and Dermal Fillers with BCAM (The British College of Aesthetic Medicine). She then completed further training with them and passed the BCAM exams, which allowed her to become a full member. Since then, she has continued to train extensively in the aesthetic field. Dr Teri later became an Appraiser for Aesthetic Doctors for BCAM in 2015 and is still performing this role.

Which treatments does Dr Teri perform?

Over the years, Dr Teri has trained in a wide variety of treatments. This way, she could provide her patients with lots of treatment options and advise them which treatments would suit them the best.

As her treatment portfolio expanded, Dr Teri felt it was becoming increasingly difficult to attend update training in every procedure she performed.  So more recently she has changed her focus to delivering high quality, personalised treatments using her favourite prescription products and medical devices including wrinkle relaxing injections, Dermal Fillers and Sculptra in the treatment areas she specialises in.

Dr Teri does, however, work closely with several associates who work at her clinic specialising in treatments that compliment her practice. They are trained to a high calibre and have a wealth of experience in their fields of practice. This gives Dr Teri peace of mind that if her patients should have a treatment with them, they will not only receive a high-quality treatment but also be in safe hands.

Although Dr Teri does not perform as wide a range of treatments herself, she is still able to advise people about the best treatments available for different concerns.  She can also recommend colleagues and associates who may best help if requested if the treatments are not available locally.
